Overview

By clicking on the Calendar link on your mail page (see E-mail Overview) you will be presented with your electronic schedular. This is a quick, easy and shareable view of your meetings, appointments and events. You can even set your calendar to be sent to your mobile phones or PDA.

Below is an overview of the main page that you will be presented with. You can change the page to suit your own personal needs, but here we are showing the default settings.

The picture below shows how everything fits together. Further down the page we break up the main screen and explain the general functions available. For further information, please book yourself onto the training courses that will be available from early May.

The top section of the screen (with the blue background) is the same as in the E-mail Overview (see links on the right).

General

Like the mail page, the calendar is split into three columns. The first column has the month displayed so that you can navigate easily to the day you want to look at.

Beneath this is a list of all the calendars that you have permission to view. To expand this list you will need to subscribe to another person's calendar once they have shared it with you.

As with the mail page, you can navigate easily between your mail, calendar and contacts here.

Calendar View

In the middle of the page you will see details of the selected day. You can easily move appointments (or change their starting or end times) by clicking and dragging.

If you click on a meeting it will display it in the preview pane.

Preview Pane

The right hand column will display the details of any meeting that has been selected.

Toolbar

Along the top of the page is the toolbar. From here you can create or delete appointments, subscribe to shared calendars, change the view (day, week, month) and much more
