Indira Group of Institutes Research center

The Indira Group of Institutes was founded under the aegis of the Shree Chanakya Education Society in February 1994. 
Under the visionary leadership of Mrs. Tarita Wakalkar Mehendale, we are today recognized as leaders in the field of higher education. 
With time we have enlarged our footprint to include IT education, mass communication, management, commerce, computer science, engineering and pharmacy under one umbrella.

With our alumni having a pan industry and pan-global placement, we keep getting inputs which have led to two things (i) the understanding that today the basic business models are being broken and newer models are taking their place. 

This in turn significantly changes the variables affecting industry.  It also brings with them challenges and opportunities which need to be faced with a combination of traditional wisdom and current knowledge to ensure that not only are the challenges met, but that value is derived out of these challenges and (ii) the setting up of the Indira Research & Development Center.

IRDC
IRDC is the research and consultancy arm of the IGI.  The research of over a decade has resulted in a sizable knowledge bank which can help organizations explore without hesitation and harness and channelize the skill-sets they possess to achieve their vision, mission and goals.  Our researchers, practitioners and students will once again get to see the implementation of new management paradigms, which they have been able to develop by applying thought and learning.
